Alberta Health Services in Alberta (Provincial Virtual Children's Rehabilitation) seeks a Physiotherapist II to coordinate pediatric physiotherapy and allied health services, delivering mostly online and occasionally in person. You’ll supervise students, lead clinical decisions, and collaborate across teams to ensure family-centred care.

The role emphasizes evidence-based practice, virtual service delivery, and partnership development with schools and community programs.

Formación

• Master's degree in Physiotherapy from an accredited university program; or a bachelor's degree in Physiotherapy from an accredited university program and related experience.
• Active or eligible registration with the College of Physiotherapists of Alberta CPTA).
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in pediatric rehabilitation, preferred community and outpatient/specialized settings.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills-a demonstration will be required.
• Excellent clinical reasoning and decision making skills.
• Expert presentation and written acumen skill.
• Expert technical and virtual service delivery skill.
• Strong interpersonal skills, including an ability to develop therapeutic relationships and navigate sensitive situations.
• Aptitude for performing in an environment of continuous change and learning.

Responsabilidades

• Coordinate physiotherapy and other allied health clinical services.
• Provide supervision to students and team members as assigned.
• Work independently and as part of an interdisciplinary team.
• Make day-to-day clinical decisions regarding patient and family needs.
• Provide guidance on complex clinical cases and clinical leadership within the program.
• Coordinate day-to-day operations of an assigned service area and monitor care delivery.
• Participate in program development and operational planning.
• Represent the department on committees and programs.
• Collaborate with managers and other healthcare providers on staffing and workflow.
• Access experienced clinicians via email, phone and virtual meetings; support via shared EHRs.
