IWK Health in Halifax, NS is seeking a Registered Nurse (Family Care Coordinator) for the 6 North Ambulatory service. You will lead interprofessional care, coordinate planning and support families across pediatric hematology/oncology care pathways.

The role requires a nursing Bachelor's degree, NS licensure eligibility, 3+ years pediatric hematology/oncology experience, BLS, and a preference for Family Care Coordination and oncology credentials.

Competenze

• Graduate of a Bachelor's degree in Nursing.
• Licensed or eligible for licensure by the Nova Scotia Nursing and Midwifery Regulator.
• Minimum of three (3) years of recent pediatric Hematology/ Oncology experience required.
• Previous experience in patient/staff education required.
• Heart and Stroke BLS within last 12 months or renewal.
• Oncology certification or enrollment in the certification process is an asset.
• APHON Chemotherapy Biotherapy Provider Status is required.
• Previous Family Care Coordinator experience preferred.
• Leadership and coordination of care experience with inter-agency collaboration required.
