As part of the Home Health Services London regional team, the Pediatric Occupational Therapist works in home care and school care settings servicing Sarnia and Lambton County . Provisional supervision is available for new graduates.

In this role, you will have access to clinical leaders, supervisors, therapist assistants, best practice specialists, and students to support your work.

Responsibilities (In-person or Virtual)

  • Assessment and implementation of Occupational Therapy interventions (e.g., ADL / IADL strategies, equipment recommendations, home modifications) in home-based settings
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to provide care
  • Support holistic and restorative care approaches using interventions, health coaching, and self-management support
  • Leverage digital platforms for care delivery, collaboration, documentation, and intervention

What You Need To Be Successful

  • Registered member in good standing with the College of Occupational Therapists of Ontario
  • Focus on person and family-centered care
  • Ability to travel within Sarnia and Lambton County (valid driver’s license and insurance required)
  • Comfortable delivering in-person and virtual care
  • Passionate, empathetic, good judgment, critical thinking skills
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work independently and in teams
  • Flexible with demonstrated critical thinking skills
  • Valuing the role of therapists in helping clients stay at home
