As a Pediatric Nurse, you will provide specialized nursing care to infants,children, and adolescents in various healthcare settings. Your role isessential in promoting the health and well-being of young patients andsupporting their families through medical procedures and treatment plans.
Key Responsibilities
- Assess and monitor the health status ofpediatric patients, including taking vital signs, conducting physical exams,and gathering medical histories.
- Develop and implement individualized care plansbased on the unique needs of each child, collaborating with physicians andother healthcare professionals.
- Administer medications, vaccinations, andtreatments as prescribed, ensuring accurate dosages and patient safety.
- Educate patients and their families about medicalconditions, treatment options, and preventative care, providing support andresources as needed.
- Manage medical equipment and assist withdiagnostic tests and procedures specific to pediatric patients.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patientrecords, documenting observations, interventions, and patient progress.
- Advocate for the needs and rights of pediatricpatients, ensuring a compassionate and supportive environment.

Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred; anAssociate’s degree in Nursing (ADN) may be acceptable with relevant experience.
- Previous experience in pediatric nursing or arelated field is preferred.
- Strong clinical skills and a thoroughunderstanding of pediatric healthcare.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skillsto effectively interact with children and their families.
- Ability to work collaboratively within ahealthcare team and provide compassionate care.
