Job summary

Holland Bloorview Kids Rehabilitation Hospital is seeking a Neuropsychologist for the Brain Injury Rehab Team. You will provide neuropsychological assessments and interventions for children/adolescents with brain injuries, work within an interprofessional team, and support school and home transitions.

The role emphasizes client- and family-centered care, supervision of practicum students, and active participation in the BIRT program, contributing to academic and clinical excellence.

Qualifications

• PhD in Psychology and registration with the College of Psychologists of Ontario.
• Competencies in clinical neuropsychology and clinical psychology with children and adolescents.
• Experience with pediatric acquired brain injury preferred.

Responsibilities

• Offers a complete range of psychological services including assessment, intervention, consultation, education, training, and team support.
• Completes neuropsychological assessments and provides comprehensive feedback to individuals and families.
• Works with psychometrists and provides supervision for assessments.
• Communicates information to interprofessional teams and schools involved in client care.
• Demonstrates strong neuropsychological formulation, feedback, and report writing.
• Provides group and individual psychological interventions appropriate for pediatric rehab.
• Collaborates with clients, families, and teams to deliver client- and family-centered care.
• Educates and trains the interprofessional team; supervises practicum and internship students.
• Participates in BIRT program and related psychology meetings.
