BC Children's Hospital (BCCH) cares for the province's most acutely ill or injured children and youth, provides developmental and rehabilitation services, and operates specialized health programs. It is a leading acute care teaching facility and conducts research through the BC Children's Hospital Research Institute and in partnership with UBC.
BCCH is part of the Provincial Health Services Authority (PHSA), which manages province-wide health care services across BC, embodying values such as Patients First, Best Value, Results Matter, Excellence Through Knowledge, and Openness to Possibilities.
The University of British Columbia is Canada's third-largest university, ranked among the top 40 globally. It is research-intensive, located primarily in Vancouver, and contributes significantly to the provincial economy.
The division provides the only tertiary care for children with neurological disorders in BC, with subspecialties including epilepsy, neurogenetics, neuro-oncology, neuromuscular disorders, brain mapping, and neonatal neurology. It offers residency and fellowship programs in pediatric neurology.
We seek a pediatric neurologist with fellowship training in Neuroinflammatory Disorders to join our established team. The role emphasizes clinical care, education, and research, including teaching residents and medical students, and providing specialized care in neuroinflammatory disorders.
