BC Children's Hospital (BCCH) provides comprehensive care for the province's most acutely ill or injured children and youth, offering developmental, rehabilitation, and specialized health services. BCCH is a leading acute care teaching facility and actively engages in research through the BC Children's Hospital Research Institute and partnerships with UBC.

The Division of Neurology offers the only tertiary care for children with neurological disorders in BC. It features subspecialties in epilepsy, neurogenetics, neuro-oncology, neuromuscular disorders, brain mapping, and neonatal neurology. The division also provides a Pediatric Neurology Residency program accredited by the Royal College and fellowships in various subspecialties.
The division seeks a pediatric neurologist with fellowship training in Movement Disorders, preferably with experience in neuromodulation techniques like Deep Brain Stimulation (DBS). The role emphasizes clinical care, education, and research, including training residents, medical students, and other healthcare trainees.
The successful candidate will participate in the division's clinical and educational programs, hold a faculty appointment in the Department of Pediatrics at UBC, and be certified by the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons or equivalent. Eligibility for a specialist license in BC is required. Salary and rank will reflect experience and qualifications.
