BC Children's Hospital is seeking a Pediatric Interventional Radiologist to join our Department of Radiology. Located in Vancouver, BC Children's Hospital is a 220-bed tertiary and quaternary care hospital serving children and families across British Columbia.
The successful candidate will join a team of 16 Pediatric and Interventional Radiologists providing imaging services to BC Children's Hospital and consulting services province-wide. The department features state-of-the-art MRI, CT, US, Nuclear Medicine, fluoroscopy, radiography, and angiography/IR systems.
The Pediatric Interventional Radiology service is staffed by 2 part-time radiologists and offers procedures including diagnostic angiography, vascular intervention, neuro-intervention, hepatobiliary and renal transplant intervention, vascular malformation therapy, vascular access, GI access and dilation, joint injections, biopsies, pain management, and oncologic interventions.
This role involves teaching and research. The department is affiliated with the University of British Columbia, offering training in Diagnostic and Pediatric Radiology and Interventional Radiology. Candidates should demonstrate strong communication skills and an interest in academic radiology, with support for research and education activities.
Qualifications include eligibility for medical licensure in BC, Royal College certification in Diagnostic Radiology, and completed or eligible fellowships in Pediatric and Interventional Radiology.
The successful candidate will be recommended for a clinical faculty appointment at UBC, with academic rank based on qualifications.
