Qualifications

  • Registered Nurse or Licensed Practical Nurse with current BCCNM registration.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work independently.

Job description

Duncan, British Columbia (BC) V9L, Canada Part Time

Pay: $32.84-$59.51 per hour

Private nurse caring for a child with medical needs:

Be a part of a caring and passionate team that strives for excellence every day! We are recruiting nurses (RN/LPN) to add to a nursing support team for a pediatric client (baby) in Duncan. This job will entail providing 1:1 respite care in the home environment, monitoring a child and providing assistance and support to the parents who are caring for the child with medical needs. Paid training is provided. Shifts are flexible, days and night shifts are available (4-12hrs shifts with the same client).

Duties include:

  1. Medication administration
  2. Baby care
  3. Respiratory care
  4. Monitoring of medical devices (all training is provided)

Qualifications:

  1. Current 'practicing' registration with BCCNM
  2. Valid CPR 'C' / BLS certification or better
  3. Demonstrated ability to work independently
  4. Strong verbal and written interpersonal communication skills
