Job summary

A leading pediatric health institution in Ottawa is seeking a Registered Dietitian to provide specialized nutrition assessments and plans for children with complex medical needs. The role involves collaborating with a multidisciplinary team, offering nutritional counseling, and educating both patients and families. The successful candidate will hold a relevant accreditation and have excellent interpersonal skills, providing care that ensures the highest standards in pediatric nutrition management.

Qualifications

• Experience working with the pediatric population is preferred.
• Certification in CPR and First Aid is preferred.
• Experience supporting patients with enteral nutrition is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide initial and follow-up nutritional counseling to patients and families.
• Plan nutritional care for patients on therapeutic and modified diets.
• Evaluate adherence to nutritional care plans and monitor outcomes.
