Job summary

The Saskatchewan Health Authority invites applications for a Part-time Child Life Therapist at Regina General Hospital. The role focuses on reducing stress for children and families through developmentally appropriate programming, under the Child Life Services team.

Reporting to the Manager of Child Life Services, you will assess needs, plan interventions, and participate in multidisciplinary rounds to support pediatric patients. Preference given to HSAS members per SAHO/HSAS.

Qualifications

• Relevant bachelor's degree required or equivalent in pediatric care.
• ACLP standards knowledge and patient/family centered care principles.
• Ability to communicate psychosocial concepts to children and families.

Responsibilities

• Assess and develop evidence-based pediatric psychosocial interventions.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to support children and families.
• Advocate for child life initiatives in hospital and community settings.
