Job summary

The Hospital for Sick Children (SickKids) in Toronto, Ontario, is hiring Registered Nurses for unit 8B, the Blood and Marrow Transplant and Cellular Therapy Program, on a full-time permanent basis to provide family-centered nursing care to children.

You will assess complex nursing needs, administer chemotherapy/biotherapy, manage post-transplant immunosuppression, and collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to support children and families through acute and chronic illness.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an approved Baccalaureate Nursing Program.
• Active General Class RN License through Ontario.
• Possess 1+ years of clinical nursing experience as an RN.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Demonstrated commitment to equity, diversity and inclusion.

Responsibilities

• Assess complex nursing needs and provide family-centred care to children.
• Deliver care across the continuum of acute and chronic illness in a pediatric setting.
• Administer chemotherapy/biotherapy and manage post-transplant immunosuppression.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team to support children and families.
