Job summary

Alberta Health Services is seeking an Audiologist I for the Red Deer community health setting. The role involves audiological assessments and consultation for children and youth, within a multidisciplinary team including SLPs, OTs, social workers, and other specialists.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Audiology; active or eligible ACSLPA registration.
• Current Basic Cardiac Life Support - Health Care Provider (BCLS-HCP).
• Experience with pediatric audiology assessments (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Screen, identify, assess and manage patients (0–17) with hearing and balance disorders.
• Supervise students and provide clinical guidance to staff as appropriate.
• Interpret findings and counsel families; develop and implement intervention plans.
• Refer to other agencies and professionals as required.
