Job summary

PrixCar Services Pty Ltd is seeking a reliable Mechanic to join our Minto team. You will work as a PDI Mechanic/Vehicle Accessory Fitter on brand-new fleet vehicles, fitting and customizing aftermarket accessories to prepare for delivery.

Responsibilities include safe vehicle maneuvering, fit-outs, wiring, paperwork completion for registration, and strict quality checks to ensure workmanship meets standards. Bring a valid driver’s license and a safety-first mindset.

Qualifications

• Must have a driver's license.
• Strong attention to detail & safety-first mindset.
• Experience in the use of hand and power tools.
• Able to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to handle a range of automotive parts and accessories (sports bars, bumper bars etc).
• Experience in vehicle accessory fitments.

Responsibilities

• Safe manoeuvring of vehicles in and around the compound and workshop.
• Perform fit-out (Customization) of vehicles as per plan and/or instructed.
• Fitting and wiring a range of vehicle accessories and equipment.
• Completion and sign off on required paperwork for vehicle registration purposes.
• Perform required quality checks and be accountable for the workmanship of performed work.
• Ensure that required records are completed accurately and submitted on time.
