Overview

Human Resources Professional : Senior Talent Acquisition Specialist | Talent Acquisition & Recruitment | Strategic HR Management

This individual will be responsible for leading, mentoring and supporting a busy team of payroll administrators, demonstrating strong team-building and motivational skills.

Responsibilities
  • Handle full cycle payroll processing for both hourly and salaried employees.
  • Manage all aspects of benefits administration including enrolment, termination, and billing.
  • Conduct regular audits to ensure accuracy.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records, including payroll information and benefit elections.
  • Oversee timekeeping processes for hourly employees.
  • Work closely with supervisors to ensure accurate time submissions and approvals.
  • Audit and balance payroll prior to processing.
  • Maintain time & attendance tracking system.
  • Issue ROEs and prepare payroll reports as requested.
  • Respond to payroll inquiries from retail locations with urgency and be a solution provider.
  • Ensure compliance with federal, provincial, and local payroll, wage, and hour laws and best practices.
  • Assist with other payroll duties, as assigned.
Requirements
  • 4-5+ years of related experience processing full cycle payroll.
  • Previous experience in a supervisory / leadership role.
  • ADP WFN experience is required.
  • Must have CPM designation or working towards.
  • Advanced MS Office skills; Excel.
  • Strong communication skills; written and verbal.
