Qualifications

  • 3–5 years of payroll experience, including interprovincial payroll.
  • Intimate knowledge of ADP Workforce Now and Canadian payroll legislation.
  • Experience in commission-based payroll and Manulife benefits administration is a plus.

Job description

Administer biweekly and semi-monthly payroll for employees across Canada using ADP Workforce Now .

Employee Support

Respond to payroll-related inquiries and ensure employee data is processed accurately in coordination with HR and management.

Data Accuracy & System Integrity

Maintain the confidentiality and integrity of payroll records, execute reconciliations, and apply system changes as needed.

Regulatory Compliance

Ensure compliance with federal and provincial legislation, manage government remittances, and support year-end tasks including T4s and ROEs.

Benefits & RRSP Administration

Manage Manulife Group Benefits and RRSP programs, including employee enrolments, terminations, remittances, and LTD administration.

Team & Project Support

Participate in process improvement initiatives and provide coverage during vacations, absences, or peak periods.

Requirements

3–5 years of payroll experience, with at least 3 years handling interprovincial payroll in Canada

Mandatory : Intimate knowledge of ADP Workforce Now

Experience in a commission-based payroll environment is considered an asset

Experience administering Manulife benefits and RRSP plans

Proficient in Microsoft Excel and the MS Office suite

Deep understanding of Canadian payroll legislation and compliance standards

Strong analytical and data entry skills with an emphasis on accuracy

Excellent multitasking, communication, and customer service skills
