We’re seeking a Payroll Operations Manager to lead our Canadian payroll function and drive excellence in service delivery, compliance, and process improvement. This is a key leadership role responsible for overseeing a team of payroll specialists and managing end-to-end payroll operations across multiple provinces using ADP Workforce Now.

What You’ll Do :

  • Lead, coach, and develop a high-performing payroll team to ensure accurate and timely payroll processing.
  • Manage regular, off-cycle, bonus, and termination payments across a multi-provincial workforce.
  • Ensure compliance with CRA, Revenue Quebec, and all applicable employment standards and payroll legislation.
  • Track and report on payroll KPIs; continuously improve processes and service levels.
  • Resolve escalated employee payroll inquiries and deliver a customer-focused payroll experience.
  • Partner with HR, Finance, and external vendors to ensure data accuracy and operational alignment.
  • Support internal and external audits, reconciliations, and system/process enhancements.
  • Monitor legislative changes and implement updates to payroll systems and procedures.

Qualifications :

  • Payroll Association certification (PCP or PLP) considered an asset.
  • 5+ years of progressive payroll experience.
  • 2+ years managing the payroll function and leading a team.
  • Strong working knowledge of ADP Workforce Now required.
  • Experience managing payroll for a multi-province organization.
  • In-depth knowledge of Canadian payroll legislation, tax regulations, and employment standards.
