Fero International Inc., a leader in modular construction, seeks a Payroll and Benefits Specialist to manage payroll processes and ensure compliance with legal requirements. This full-time, on-site role at the Stoney Creek office will involve comprehensive payroll administration, auditing, and benefits management. The ideal candidate possesses robust payroll experience, problem-solving skills, and a positive attitude towards continuous improvement and professional growth.
Fero International is a modular construction company based in Stoney Creek, Ontario. In our 300,000 sq. ft. state-of-the-art facility that was purpose-built for modular, we design and manufacture volumetric modular buildings for diverse markets across Canada, including healthcare, education, housing, commercial and industrial. Our modular solutions reduce construction time, improve quality control, and promote sustainable building practices.
Position Overview :
The Payroll and Benefits Specialist will be a highly responsive and trusted subject matter expert, responsible for managing and maintaining Fero’s biweekly full-cycle payroll and year-end processes and ensuring accuracy and timeliness in all aspects of payroll data processing and ADP . In this role, you will collect, review, and input payroll data into our system, conduct regular audits, and collaborate with our systems provider to ensure compliance with all deadlines and requirements. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of payroll and applicable ESA legal requirements and will be the point of contact for internal inquiries regarding payment policies and procedures. This is a full-time, on-site position based in our Stoney Creek office.
