Monday-Friday, 37.5 hours per week. Beginning June 2025 – 3-month term.
Range: $65,000 to $70,000 annual salary. This is a non-bargaining unit position.

St. Margaret’s School (SMS) is Western Canada’s only girl-centered, independent day and boarding school located in Victoria, British Columbia, on the unceded traditional territories of the Esquimalt Nations, Songhees Nations, and W̱SÁNEĆ Nations. Founded in 1908, SMS is an international centre for girl-centered learning and leadership development, offering education from Junior Kindergarten to Grade 12 (boarding grades 7–12). SMS is an International Baccalaureate (IB) School providing the Diploma Programme and is a candidate for the IB Middle Years Programme (MYP).
The Payroll and Benefits Administrator is responsible for administering payroll for all staff, adhering to federal and provincial legislation, BC Labour Code, WCB, school policies, procedures, and union agreements where applicable. Responsibilities include calculating wages, managing benefit enrollments and changes, administering pension plans, and maintaining accurate employee files. The role also involves providing excellent customer service by responding promptly to employee inquiries.
