What to Expect

Job Responsibilities:

  • Oversee payroll processing by the offshore payroll team
  • Review, verify, and process payroll data on a bi-weekly payroll schedule
  • Reconcile balance sheets monthly and file government taxes
  • Assist the Human Resources Department with payroll discrepancies and employee queries
  • Prepare labour and productivity reports for discussion with management
What is Required
  • Experience with payroll and knowledge of BC Employment Standards Act
  • Strong analytical mindset with the ability to interpret financial data
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office
  • Eligible to work in Canada
How to Stand Out
  • Experience with ADP and Workday
  • Knowledge of GST and PST filing and remittance
  • PCP training preferred
  • Strong preference for candidates with exceptional attention to detail and organization
