The Analysts report to Managers within the Corporate Reporting, Budget, Payroll, Accounts Receivable, and Financial Analytics departments. They provide analytical support for corporate activities, transactional processing centers, and Nova Scotia Health leaders.
Under the Payroll Manager's guidance, the Analyst manages end-to-end payroll processing, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and legislative compliance. Responsibilities include scheduling, executing payroll jobs, reporting, adjustments, and year-end activities like T4 submissions. They support system updates, master data management, and troubleshooting payroll issues, collaborating with IM/IT as needed. The role also involves analyzing data to support decision-making, performance improvement, and risk reduction.
This position offers a hybrid work model with work-from-home privileges.
