Job description

Are you a detail-oriented payroll professional looking for an opportunity to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment? We are seeking an experienced Payroll Administrator to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for processing payroll for over 500 employees across multiple provinces, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and efficiency in all payroll operations.

This is an On-Site position in Mississauga. Part-Time 3 days per week and 2 days in the office.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Process bi-weekly payroll for 500+ salaried and hourly employees across multiple provinces.
  • Collaborate with internal teams, particularly Human Resources, to ensure seamless payroll operations.
  • Review electronic timesheets and audit data for accuracy.
  • Maintain employee records in ADP Workforce Now (e.g., new hires, salary adjustments, direct deposit updates, and address changes).
  • Assist new hires with ADP attendance procedures, login issues, and password resets.
  • Manage position transfers, salary and status changes, and process final pay calculations.
  • Prepare Records of Employment (ROEs) in compliance with Service Canada regulations.
  • Reconcile payroll totals and ensure accuracy before final submission.
  • Support payroll process improvements and maintain up-to-date internal documentation.
  • Assist with T2200 processing and other payroll-related tax forms.
  • Maintain accurate payroll records and correspondence.
  • Serve as a backup for payroll processing when needed.
  • Contribute to payroll and HR-related projects.
  • Generate reports and provide payroll data insights as required.

Qualifications :

  • Diploma in Accounting, Business Administration, or Human Resources .
  • Proven experience in payroll processing.
  • Payroll Compliance Practitioner (PCP) designation is an asset.
  • Strong proficiency in ADP Workforce Now or Workday (preferred).
  • Excellent communication skills (English); fluency in French is an asset.
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint).
  • Ability to manage tight deadlines while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Highly organized, with strong prioritization skills and attention to detail.
