Ledcor Group in Vancouver, BC, is seeking a Payroll Administrator to support union and non-union payroll processing in a hybrid setup. The role covers full-cycle payrolls, reconciliations and remittance processing across multiple pay cycles, with a 6-month fixed term contract.

Ideal candidates will have at least 2 years of payroll experience, familiarity with our ERP, and knowledge of regulations such as CRA and WCB. We value accuracy, teamwork, and strong problem-solving skills.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 2 years of office and full-cycle payroll experience, in a complex organizational environment.
  • Certification by the National Payroll Institute as a Payroll Compliance Practitioner (PCP) is an asset.
  • Knowledge of U.S. payroll processes is an advantage.
  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

  • Process full cycle hourly and salaried payrolls using our in-house ERP system.
  • Manage and reconcile monthly, quarterly, and annual stakeholder payments (WCB, EHT, etc.).
  • Collaborate with work sites to ensure accurate time entry and resolve issues.
  • Ensure timely reporting of payroll withholding tax payments.
  • Payroll accounts reconciliation on quarterly and annual basis.
  • Answer internal and external payroll inquiries.
  • Process remittances such as CRA, Unions and WCB.

Job description

You are a Payroll Administrator, who will be responsible for assisting the payroll team with processing union and non-union payrolls in different pay cycles in a timely and accurate manner. You will be responsible for processing payroll reconciliations and journal entries on a weekly, monthly, quarterly or annual basis. This is a 6-month fixed term contract position. Essential Responsibilities
  • Process full cycle hourly, and salaried payrolls, using our in-house ERP system
  • Manage, reconcile, file and remit monthly, quarterly and annual stakeholder payments (WCB, EHT, etc.)
  • Collaborate with work sites to ensure accurate and timely entry to Time Entry module and resolve time entry issues; assist with Time Entry as required
  • Ensure timely reporting of all payrolls withholding tax payments
  • Payroll accounts Reconciliation on quarterly and annual basis
  • Answer internal and external payroll inquiries
  • Payroll related office clerical work assigned by Supervisor
  • Processing remittances such as CRA, Unions and WCB
Qualifications

  • Demonstrated ability to process payroll accurately and efficiently within tight deadlines
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel at an intermediate level
  • Positive, team-oriented attitude with a friendly and professional demeanor
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills for business environments
Working Conditions

This is a hybrid role involving both working from home and attending the office 1-2 days per week.

Compensation

Compensation $48,000.00 - $66,000.00

This is the expected base pay range for this role. Individual base pay will be determined based on a variety of factors including experience, knowledge, skills, education and location.
