Our client, a well-establishedorganization in downtown Edmonton, is looking to add a dedicatedPayroll & People Services Coordinatorto their team. This role offers the chance to take ownership of payroll operations while providing day-to-day HR administration and benefits support.

What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Lead the complete, start-to-finish payroll processon a semi-monthly basis (100 staff).
  • Manage employee benefits administration, including enrollments, changes, terminations, and answering employee inquiries
  • Coordinate employee onboarding and offboarding processes, ensuring timely and accurate documentation including ROEs
  • Stay current on employment legislation, ensuring payroll and HR processes are fully compliant with federal and provincial laws
  • Act as a key resource for employees on payroll, benefits, and HR policy inquiries
  • Support HR administration functions such as policy updates, reporting, and maintaining employee records

What You’ll Bring:

  • Minimum 4years of experience in full-cycle payroll processing
  • Exposure to HR administration and employee onboarding/offboarding is an asset
  • Familiarity with provincial and federal employment standards and regulations
  • Strong proficiency inMicrosoft Excel; experience withADPor similar payroll systems is an asset
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Clear, professional communication skills — both written and verbal
