Job description

As a Product Manager in the Commercial & Investment Bank Payments Technology team, you will be a key driver of innovation, leading the entire product lifecycle. You will act as the voice of the customer, developing profitable products that deliver value and ensure exceptional client experiences. Your role involves guiding product launches, collecting feedback, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure scalability, resiliency, and stability.

Job responsibilities

  • Develop and communicate product strategy and vision that delivers customer value
  • Conduct discovery efforts and market research to identify customer needs and incorporate them into the product roadmap
  • Manage and prioritize the product backlog aligned with strategic goals
  • Define and track success metrics such as cost, features, risk, and reliability
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to understand requirements and address queries

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills

  • 5+ years of experience in product management or relevant domain expertise
  • Deep understanding of the product development lifecycle, design, and data analytics
  • Proven experience managing all phases of the product lifecycle from discovery to delivery
  • Strong knowledge of Canadian payments landscape, regulations, and trends
  • Experience with product ownership or related roles
  • Ability to serve as a Canadian SME within North American product offerings
  • Understanding of acquiring platforms, merchant onboarding, processing, and reporting
  • Familiarity with APIs, integration, and certification processes

  • Experience working in a complex, matrixed organization
