Job Responsibilities

  • Sell products and services to new customers through face-to-face, digital, and phone contact.
  • Develop an in-depth understanding of clients' current needs and future strategies.
  • Identify and self-source client opportunities; this may include developing a vertical market strategy to effectively sell to clients with complex requirements (eCommerce, Integrated POS, Multi-Location, VAR).
  • Possess deep knowledge of company's products and pricing to facilitate sales efforts, aligning daily activities with strategic business objectives.
  • Negotiate with clients to price products and services competitively while generating revenue, acting as a trusted advisor, leveraging core knowledge, to recommend and promote payment processing solutions.
  • Understand internal credit processes and build working relationships with credit partners.
  • Maintain sales records and prepare sales reports as required.
  • Apply sound risk management protocols to protect the firm; stay knowledgeable of compliance and risk issues, escalating to management as appropriate; collaborate to determine solutions.

Qualifications

  • University degree preferred.
  • At least 5 years of B2B sales experience with a proven track record of self-sourcing leads, meeting revenue goals in solution selling.
  • Strong telesales ability, excellent written and verbal communication skills, time management, organizational, and planning skills; ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Superior partnership skills, and ability to work with cross-functional teams.
  • Ability to identify innovative solutions to serve customers and mobilize internal resources.
  • Ability to travel up to 25%.
