The Miller Group is seeking Patroller Operators to join its winter maintenance team. You will respond to winter weather events, accidents, spills, and emergencies, helping with traffic control and implementing response plans.
You will operate equipment such as combo units for snow/ice control, perform snow removal and sand/salt application, and document fuel, safety, and hours of service while performing routine vehicle maintenance.

Miller Maintenance proudly provides maintenance services on Maintenance Contracts for the Ministry of Transportation throughout Ontario. $29.32-$30.18/hr
Our Patroller Operators are integral members of our winter maintenance team, helping keep local roads and provincial highways safe throughout the winter season. You will respond to winter weather events, accidents, spills, and other emergency situations, assisting with traffic control and implementing emergency response plans as required.
You will become familiar with route maps, patrol areas, and snow and ice control procedures to support effective decision‑making during winter operations, including equipment and operator call‑outs.You will safely operate a variety of equipment, including combo units, to perform snow and ice control, snow removal, and sand/salt application in accordance with contract requirements.
When you're not on the road, you will maintain accurate documentation, including fuel reports, safety reports, and hours of service. You will also maintain and clean equipment, perform routine maintenance and minor repairs, inspect patrol areas, identify deficiencies, and respond to public concerns.
Your role may also include performing general road maintenance activities such as pothole repairs, installing signs and end treatments, setting up and taking down traffic closures, and maintaining a clean and safe shop, yard, and work environment.
