Job Skills / Requirements

Our Patient Watch Officers are responsible for monitoring the safety, security, and confidentiality of patients who present a danger to themselves or others, while providing superior customer service and professionalism.

Ideal candidates are willing to work on-call and pick up shifts on short notice, especially overnights! These shifts are in hospitals, so team members may see blood, bodily fluids, sick patients, individuals with mental health issues, suicidal tendencies, and work around youth. Excellent communication skills are required. Successful applicants will undergo a criminal background check.

A valid Alberta Security License is required for these roles; however, we provide training for those without this certification, along with First Aid and other relevant training.
