Job summary

Shared Health is seeking a Porter for Diagnostic Imaging Portering at St. Boniface Hospital in Winnipeg. The role involves transporting and assisting patients, documenting information, and maintaining equipment as required.

You will help stock rooms, manage linen, and ensure oxygen tanks are available. A current BLS certification and Grade 12 or equivalent are required, with a preference for hospital porter experience.

Qualifications

• Minimum six months hospital porter or similar experience preferred.
• Grade 12 or equivalent; BLS certification required.
• Ability to lift and move heavy patients; good communication and interaction with others.

Responsibilities

• Transport and assist patients within Diagnostic Imaging.
• Attend to patient needs and document information as required.
• Wipe down equipment and ensure it is in working order.
• Stock rooms with linen and maintain oxygen tanks; change as needed.
