Patient Transfer Attendant - Muskoka, ON

Voyago is hiring Full-time and Casual Patient Transfer Attendants in Muskoka, ON.

Your Role
  • Responsible for the safe transport of patients via stretcher/wheelchair to/from healthcare facilities, nursing homes, or private residences.
  • Provide outstanding customer service.
  • Maintain excellent communication skills.
Requirements
Your Profile

Must possess the following qualifications:

  • Valid First Responder Certification OR AEMCA, OR working towards a Paramedic Diploma (must be in year 1), OR a Firefighter with Emergency Medical Responder Certification.
  • Valid BLS certificate or CPR Level HCP.
  • Valid G class driving license.
  • Ability to lift 250+ lbs. using a stretcher or stair chair with a partner.
  • Effective communication in both verbal and written English.
  • Safe driver with a clean driving record.
  • Ability to obtain a clean Criminal Record Search with Vulnerable Sector screening.
  • Up-to-date immunization records including MMR, DPT, Polio, Varicella, Hepatitis B, COVID-19 (2 doses), TB Skin Test (Step 1) valid within the last 12 months.
  • High School diploma or proof of equivalency/post-secondary diploma.
