Role Overview

As a Patient Support Assistant, you will collaborate with nursing staff to provide quality, patient- and family-centered care, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction.

Qualifications
  • Recognized personal support worker certificate or healthcare aide program completion
  • Current BCLS certification
  • Experience in an acute care setting preferred
  • Proficient in computer skills
  • Knowledge of universal precautions and medical terminology is an asset
  • Excellent customer service, interpersonal, and communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong organizational and workload prioritization skills
  • Reliable attendance and performance records
  • Commitment to a safe and healthy workplace, complying with policies and legislation
Physical Demands
  • Frequent moderate to heavy exertion, including lifting over 60 lbs.
Work Schedule

12-hour shifts, days and nights (0730-1930, 1930-0730), including weekends and holidays, with flexibility required. Schedules may change based on operational needs.

Compensation

Range: $27.86 - $30.61
