A Patient Services Representative is an administrative role, full time hours from Monday to Friday from 8 AM - 4 PM.
Job Purpose:
The Patient Services Representative serves prospective patients by determining requirements and qualifying new patients to help book in consultations through phone calls and emails; answering inquiries; fulfilling requests; maintaining database with data entry for each new patient.
Duties:
Demonstrate a strong customer focused philosophy in all interactions with patients.
Determine patient requirements by working with prospective patients and gathering the information needed.
Answer inquiries by clarifying desired information; researching, locating, and providing information.
Fulfill requests by clarifying desired information; booking consultations when patients are deemed qualified.
Maintain database by entering information.
Receive, communicate and coordinate communication between patients and administrative staff.
Work with the manager to create strategies to improve patient satisfaction.
Receive and make phone calls and e‐mails.
Coordinate documents with patients, answer questions and send reminder e‐mails/calls.
Other duties as required.
Skills/Qualifications:
Excellent English communication skills: good spelling, punctuation, grammar as well as spoken English.
Able to talk to patients in an understanding way.
Knowledge of medical/hair loss/hair transplant terminology.
Good organizational and time management skills.
Able to keep patients’ information confidential.
Able to use office equipment including computers, and able to learn new software.
Able to be flexible and adapt to new or changing requirements.
Proficient using the latest versions of Microsoft Word, Excel; email and web.
Possesses highly developed analytical, problem solving, critical thinking skills.
Demonstrates commitment to professional development and learning.
Completion of a recognized training program from a business or community college or combination of education and experience working in a medical facility.
