What you bring to the role:

  • Previous experience with patient scheduling and order entry in a high volume, fast-paced environment is required

  • Knowledge of and/or completion of a medical terminology course

  • Proficient computer skills, Meditech experience preferred

  • Excellent organization skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks

  • Excellent public relations and communication skills with a pleasant telephone manner

  • Ability to troubleshoot and problem solve

  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively and collaboratively as a member of the team

  • Evidence of good attention to detail

  • Demonstrated good attendance record with the ability to maintain this same standard

  • Demonstrates a commitment to a healthy and safe workplace for self and others (staff, patients, families, etc.) by taking all reasonable precautions and working in compliance with hospital-related policies, health and safety legislation and best practices and completing relevant mandatory education as required

Work Schedule:

8:30-4:30 M-F

$27.51 - $30.95
