Job summary

The Lac La Ronge Indian Band is seeking a responsible Medical Transportation Driver for the Grandmother’s Bay Clinic. You will coordinate day-to-day medical travel for band members, ensuring patient information is accurate and forwarding required forms to Medical Transportation.

The role requires Grade 10, a valid Class 5 license, and First Aid/CPR is an asset. You will maintain fleet logs, support trips in all weather, and work with a team to ensure timely access to care.

Qualifications

• Minimum Grade 10 education
• Must possess a valid Class 5 driver's license
• First Aid/CPR certification is an asset
• Ability to travel to different communities and work in varying weather
• Woodland Cree language is an asset
• Strong communication skills

Responsibilities

• Transport clients to and from medical appointments, including out-of-town trips.
• Complete and maintain daily trip logs and required documentation.
• Ensure all client information and destinations are confirmed with supervisor.
• Perform daily maintenance on Medical Fleet Vehicles.
• On-call duties as required.
• Assist clients in boarding and alighting vehicles.
