Job summary

LifeLabs is seeking a Part-Time Patient Service Centre Assistant in Coquitlam, BC. You will greet customers, ensure a professional and safe visit, and accurately collect and enter patient information.

You will verify specimens against requisitions, sort and accession specimens, and prepare them for courier pickups. The role requires 1–3 years of customer service experience, a high school diploma, and strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• 1-3 years in customer service
• Clear, effective communication with strong interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and provide professional, positive, and safe experience at LifeLabs.
• Enter customer information and verify specimens and requisitions.
• Enter patient demographics and requisition details into the computer.
• Process and prepare specimens for pickup and support courier handoffs.
• Maintain cleanliness and stock of PSC supplies and assist with filing and faxing as required.
