Qualifications

• Pharmacist license required.
• Secondary Alberta CA_APA permit optional (Additional Prescribing Authorization).

Responsibilities

• Ensure excellent patient experience and locate merchandise on the sales floor.
• Establish and develop a strong working relationship with Professional Services District Manager and other stakeholders.
• Accept prescriptions and/or refill requests from customers, doctors or hospitals.
• Ensure all prescriptions are filled accurately, efficiently, and safely using the established workflow models and counsel all patients on sold pharmaceutical products.
• Ensure proper storage of pharmaceutical products.
• Execute processes as per Walmart's best practices and SOPs.
• Operate all pharmacy equipment (register, computer system, etc.) while protecting patient privacy and following provincial regulations.
• Ensure patients receive all eligible services (medication reviews, injections, etc.) and that the pharmacy remains open during posted hours; assist in executing the business action plan toward corporate goals.
