Job summary

Walmart Canada is seeking a Staff Pharmacist to assist the Pharmacy Manager in all aspects of Pharmacy Operations. You will provide patient care tailored to each patient based on consultations and file reviews.

Responsibilities include accepting prescriptions, ensuring accurate and safe filling, maintaining privacy, and supporting the business action plan with the Pharmacy Manager. The role pays hourly and requires a Pharmacist License with provincial scope.

Qualifications

• Active pharmacist license to practice in the applicable province
• Ability to assist in Pharmacy operations and patient counseling
• Comfort with prescriptions intake and multi-stakeholder collaboration
• Knowledge of provincial regulations and privacy requirements

Responsibilities

• Assist the Pharmacy Manager in all aspects of Pharmacy Operations.
• Provide patient care based on consultation or file review.
• Accept prescriptions and/or refill requests from Customers, Doctors or Hospitals.
• Ensure prescriptions are filled accurately, efficiently, and safely and counsel patients.
