Job description

Professional PT, a leading provider of physical, occupational, and hand therapy in the Northeast, is seeking a dedicated and compassionate individual to join our team as a Patient Care Coordinator. As a Patient Care Coordinator, you will be the first point of contact for our patients and play a vital role in providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a positive patient experience.

Compensation: $17 - $19 per hour

Responsibilities:

  1. Greet patients
  2. Answer phones
  3. Schedule patient appointments
  4. Complete new patient registration and data entry
  5. Discuss insurance benefits, authorization requirements, and payment responsibilities
  6. Collect patient balances (copay/deductible/coinsurance)
  7. Perform standard day-to-day clinical administrative responsibilities

Minimum Requirements:

  1. High school diploma or equivalent
  2. Prior experience in a customer service or administrative role, preferably in a healthcare setting
  3. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  4. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  5. Ability to multitask, prioritize tasks, and work in a fast-paced environment
  6. Proficient in computer skills and ability to learn new software systems
