Job summary

Scarborough Health Network Centenary Site in Toronto is seeking a Supervisor, Patient Registration to lead the Centralized outpatient Registration and Emergency Registration across SHN's three locations. The role emphasizes staffing, Lean process improvements, and delivering exceptional patient access services.

Ideal candidate has 3+ years leading healthcare teams, strong communication skills, and expertise with EPIC.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years experience leading a team in a health care setting.
• Minimum 1 year in a supervisory role.
• Minimum 3 years leading system improvements/implementations in health care.
• Minimum 2 years developing training material and training schedules.
• Strong computer skills and proficiency with Microsoft Office.
• Proficiency using a Clinical Information System (Epic).
• Excellent verbal and written communication; ability to engage others.
• Ability to coach, mentor and motivate staff; work independently.

Responsibilities

• Staffing & Budget Management: supervise daily operations and staffing.
• Support recruitment, scheduling, coaching, development and performance.
• Use EPIC data to inform staffing and service decisions.
• Monitor performance, quality, and safety; maintain SOPs and standards.
• Work with management to optimize patient access processes.
• Participate in committees and cross-coverage as needed.
• Foster PFCC and a positive patient experience.
