Now Hiring: Laboratory Specimen Processing Technician
Are you detail-oriented, organized, and passionate about supporting cutting-edge healthcare? Join our dynamic team as a Laboratory Specimen Processing Technician and play a vital role in patient care - all while earning a $1,500 Sign-On Bonus!
What You'll Do:
Receive, label, and distribute clinical laboratory specimens, including blood, urine, and tissue samples.
Accession and verify patient information in our Laboratory Information System to prepare specimens for testing.
Monitor and maintain inventory of laboratory supplies, reagents, and equipment.
Follow established protocols for the proper handling, storage, and disposal of all specimens.
Keep the lab environment clean, organized, and compliant with safety standards.
Use personal protective equipment and follow safety procedures, including proper disposal of hazardous materials.
Work closely with laboratory staff and healthcare providers to ensure fast, accurate processing.
Support lab operations by performing additional duties as assigned by management.

Education
High School Diploma or Equivalent required. Associate's degree Related Field of Study preferred

Experience in a laboratory or healthcare setting 1-2 years preferred

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
- Knowledge of basic laboratory equipment and terminology.
- Ability to follow established procedures and protocols with attention to detail and accuracy.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.

- Basic computer skills including proficiency with Microsoft Office.
