Job summary

Qualifications

• Must have MHSc in Laboratory Medicine or equivalent (e.g., MLT with advanced training).
• Minimum of 2 years' related experience.
• Experience using voice recognition systems is an asset.
• CCCPA certification an asset.
• Histotech experience is an asset.
• Bilingualism in French/English is an asset.

You have great skills and abilities in examining, describing, dissecting and photography of small and complex large surgical specimens of all tissue types. You are computer proficient and have strong knowledge of medical terminology. You have proven written and oral communication and strong interpersonal skills and display a high degree of professionalism. You demonstrate strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure and maintain high level of productivity and competence. This position supports the hospital's academic mandate by advancing care through teaching and learning and/or transforming care through research and innovation.
