At Canucks Sports & Entertainment, we are excited to be in the business of creating memorable moments for our fans and guests. We are now inviting enthusiastic, passionate individuals to join our event staff team and be part of the excitement during Canucks games, Warriors games, and concerts at Rogers Arena.

Position Overview

As part of our hourly Culinary team, Pastry Cooks support the pastry team to ensure an elevated and seamless preparation of pastries and desserts for our guests, exceeding their expectations at every opportunity. This is a part-time, hourly, events-based position. A typical shift includes:

  • Working and training in a premium kitchen environment
  • Performing food preparation and executing responsibilities within the premium pastry kitchen
  • Focusing on quality, food preparation standards, and consistency within pastry kitchen environment
  • Implementing and enforcing sanitary practices for food handling, general cleanliness, and maintenance of kitchen
  • Other duties as required
Required Experience And Qualifications
  • Must be able to work weekdays, weeknights, weekends, and holidays with various start times based on the kitchen needs
  • Must be able to safely lift up to 40 lbs.
  • Must be able to stand during scheduled shift, withstand repetitive walking, reaching, and bending for long periods of time
  • Must have pastry education and two years of work experience in a high volume pastry kitchen
  • Completion of Food Safe Certificate is an asset
  • Non-Canadian residents must hold a valid work permit expiring no earlier than January 2026
  • This is an onsite role at Rogers Arena in downtown Vancouver
