Organizational Description: Golden Links Lodge is an 88-bed accredited not-for-profit Personal Care Home in St. Vital, Winnipeg, Manitoba, owned by the Oddfellows and Rebekahs. Volunteer Opportunity Details

Description of Duties:

1. The volunteer visits residents, introducing them to the services available for their spiritual care while in the Personal Care Home.
2. The volunteer confirms denomination and church affiliation, and seeks permission to call the resident's church as necessary.
3. The volunteer listens to residents and family.
4. Visits with residents to offer Pastoral Care and ask if resident would like a chaplain to visit with.
