Pastor of Senior Ministry

The Pastor of Senior Ministry will oversee the Senior Ministry at South Delta Baptist Church (SDBC) to help achieve our mission to honour Jesus and our vision to love like Jesus. The Pastor of Senior Ministry will offer spiritual care for the senior congregants of SDBC (65+) and facilitate spiritual growth as disciples of Jesus. Moreover, he will oversee the Senior Ministry Leadership Team, who plans, promotes, and executes events under the direction of the Pastor of Senior Ministry to foster a culture of sharing life and sharing mission at SDBC.

The role of this position is to help us engage the seniors of our community and build a
stronger connection within our church family so that we may be equipped to be on
mission for Christ. We expect this position to help our church at large to grow in our
capacity to be missionally effective across multiple generations and sensitive to the needs of the demographically diverse city in which we serve.
