Job summary

A leading equipment provider in Prince George is looking for a Warehouse Person to pick and pack parts orders. Candidates should have strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work independently. Completing Grade 12 is a must, and certifications in TDG and WHMIS as well as forklift training are considered assets. The role involves sorting stock and loading trucks in a dynamic work environment.

• Previous warehousing experience and computer literacy are desired.

Responsibilities

• Picking customer and branch parts orders.
• Packing and labeling parts orders for shipment.
• Sorting and binning incoming stock.
• Loading and unloading of parts trucks.

Job description

• Work with supportive, collaborative team

Major Job Functions :

• Picking customer and branch parts orders
• Packing and labeling parts orders for shipment
• Sorting and binning incoming stock
• Loading and unloading of the parts trucks
• Candidate selection will be in compliance with the terms of the current Collective Agreement

Skills & Qualifications :

• Completion of Grade 12
• Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills
• Ability to successfully work under minimal supervision
• TDG and WHMIS certification, coupled with forklift training will be considered assets
• Previous warehousing, as well as computer literacy are also desired

Other :

• Start time varies between 7 am - 11 : 30 am
• Hours and shift schedule may be subject to change to meet customer and / or Finning Canada requirements
