Job description

$24 - $30+ / hour

This role involves performing customer service, promoting, displaying, and stocking duties related to parts sales, as well as receiving and delivering parts and accessories to ensure efficient, safe, and profitable operations within the parts department. The individual will assist customers in identifying needed items using electronic catalogs and other resources, and will handle merchandising, invoicing, and inventory entries according to company guidelines.


Specific Duties Include:

  1. Maintain cleanliness and professionalism in the parts department
  2. Record all sales and customer transactions accurately using company systems (e.g., PFW)
  3. Maintain retail sales floor and displays to meet or exceed dealership standards and ensure customer satisfaction
  4. Assist with inventory control by reporting discrepancies and managing stock
  5. Ensure timely delivery of correct parts to internal and external customers
  6. Handle receiving, shipping, and storing parts in compliance with DOT regulations
  7. Stay informed about industry trends and product information
  8. Pick up and deliver parts for customers and vendors as needed
  9. Organize parts in stockroom and assist with cycle counting
  10. Follow safety protocols and company policies at all times
  11. Present a professional image in interactions with customers and the community
  12. Participate in training to enhance skills and knowledge
  13. Engage in company communication efforts such as meetings and huddles
  14. Maintain positive relationships with colleagues and management, emphasizing teamwork and customer service
  15. Perform additional duties as assigned professionally and efficiently

Job Requirements:

  • Formal parts training or industry experience
  • Understanding of mechanical and technical terms
  • Knowledge of parts operating systems preferred
  • Computer literacy
  • Strong organizational and interpersonal skills
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Valid work authorization to work in the U.S. without sponsorship
