Parts & Service Sales Representative - Crushing

The Parts & Service Sales Representative - Crushing is responsible for growing parts and service sales within a targeted customer group. They serve as the key technical sales specialist, explaining Toromont’s value proposition and offering a suite of products to help customers minimize the cost per ton of aggregate produced.

As a Parts & Service Sales Representative - Crushing, you will :

  • Work within a safe organization prioritizing your safety and well-being
  • Represent a leading equipment dealer with the premium Caterpillar brand
  • Engage in continuous learning, growth, and development through internal training programs
  • Receive competitive rewards including wages, benefits, and premiums (as eligible)

Typical daily activities include :

  • Practicing safe and environmentally responsible behaviors in line with Toromont's policies
  • Promoting crushing parts sales, exchanging components, and supporting customers to secure agreements
  • Developing marketing and prospecting plans and closing strategies for new business
  • Conducting presentations to promote crushing parts and services at our facilities
  • Managing customer contacts via weekly call plans and CRM systems
  • Collaborating with customers to reduce operating costs through maintenance strategies
  • Working with team members to promote a team selling approach
  • Creating and executing a yearly territory plan aligned with regional and corporate goals
  • Keeping customers informed about new products and offerings
  • Monitoring competitive literature to ensure competitive pricing

Must-have qualifications :

  • At least 5 years of experience in Heavy Equipment or the Aggregate industries
  • Customer-focused with a solid understanding of maintenance and repair options
  • Excellent communication and relationship management skills
  • Proven sales and financial skills supporting growth strategies
  • Self-motivated, proactive, and adaptable team player
  • Strong time management and planning skills with a sense of urgency
  • Ability to adapt to changing priorities in a deadline-driven environment
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and customer systems
