  • Steel toed work boots required.

Job description

CDN is a recognized industry leader in the energy services sector. CDN is a full-service provider with expertise in E&I maintenance, renewables/solar, major projects, combustion & emissions reduction, and measurement.

We are looking to hire a Parts Runner based out of our Grande Prairie branch . The Parts Runner/Shop Hand reports to the Supply Chain Manager and is responsible for the daily parts and material pickups for the Purchasing department as well as other departments as required.

Responsibilities:

  • Complete pick-up and delivery of parts, materials, tools as required.
  • General shop maintenance and cleaning.
  • Receive shop items and put them into inventory (Re-stocking).
  • Prepare Company trucks for work (cleaning, setting up tools, and decals as needed).
  • Prepare material orders for shipments to other branches, for lay away for projects, or on trucks and trailers heading to site.
  • Assist with inventory counts when required.
  • Tag new equipment with CDN tags for tracking and identification purposes.
  • Assist with the set-up and take-down of monthly safety meetings.
  • Completing regular Shop and forklift inspections.
  • All other duties as assigned.

Job Requirements :

  • Grade 12 diploma.
  • Valid class 5 driver’s license with a clean driver’s abstract.
  • Ability to lift up to 50lbs.
  • Steel toed work boots.
  • Forklift Ticket would be an asset.
