Job summary

Brandt Group of Companies in Ponoka is seeking a Parts Person for our Agriculture (John Deere) location to assist customers in finding parts, provide pricing, and process online orders. You will help with warehouse and inventory tasks to support our Parts business and collaborate with the Parts Manager to deliver excellent service.

The role requires experience in parts or warehousing, PC proficiency with Excel, and strong customer service skills.

Qualifications

• Prev. experience in the parts industry preferred.
• Solid foundation of parts/warehousing knowledge and skills.
• Journeyperson Certification is considered an asset.
• Capable of meeting physical demands of parts/warehousing trade.
• Effective customer service skills and ability to build lasting partnerships with customers both over the phone and in person.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Proficiency in operating a personal computer and utilizing software such as Excel to input and manage data effectively.

Responsibilities

• Problem-solving
• Unloading, receiving, and storing incoming parts and other materials in the warehouse and yard
• Locate parts and other materials, and ship to customers and other branches
• Provide assistance to branch service technicians as required
• Place inventory stock orders
• Make inventory and bin adjustments
• Accurately and completely document and report all shipping, receiving, inventory, and stock information
• Use parts and warehousing equipment and computer systems
• Other duties as required

Brandt is currently seeking a Parts Person for our Ponoka Agriculture (John Deere) location. The Parts Person is responsible for aiding customers in finding necessary parts, offering pricing information, and processing online parts orders. This position involves parts inventory duties that support warehouse operations and strengthen our Parts Business. This role reports to the Parts Manager, working collaboratively to deliver optimal outcomes for customers.
