Job summary

Brandt Group of Companies in Fort McMurray is seeking a Parts Person for our Construction and Forestry location. You will help customers find necessary parts, provide pricing information, and process online orders while supporting warehouse operations.

You will report to the Parts Manager and work with the team to ensure accurate inventory, timely shipments, and excellent service. Experience in the parts or warehousing trade is valued.

Qualifications

• Capable of meeting physical demands of parts/warehousing work.
• Excellent customer service skills and ability to build lasting relationships with customers in person and over the phone.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds as required.
• Proficiency with computers and data entry; Excel knowledge helpful for data management.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers in locating parts, provide pricing information, and process online orders.
• Unload, receive, and store incoming parts and other materials in warehouse and yard.
• Locate parts and ship to customers and other branches; support branch service technicians as needed.
• Place inventory stock orders and make inventory/bin adjustments.
• Document and report shipping, receiving, inventory, and stock information; operate warehousing equipment and systems.
• Perform other duties as required.

Description

Brandt is currently seeking a Parts Person for our Fort McMurray Construction and Forestry location location. The Parts Person is responsible for aiding customers in finding necessary parts, offering pricing information, and processing online parts orders. The position entails executing parts inventory duties that bolster our Parts Business by supporting warehouse operations. This role reports to the Parts Manager, working collaboratively to deliver optimal outcomes for customers.

What You Will Be Responsible For

• Problem solving Unloading, receiving, and storing incoming parts and other materials in the warehouse and yard
• Locate parts and other materials, and ship to customers and other branches
• Provide assistance to branch service technicians as required
• Place inventory stock orders
• Make inventory and bin adjustments
• Accurately and completely document and report all shipping, receiving, inventory, and stock information Use parts and warehousing equipment and computer systems
• Other duties as required

What We Look For

• Effective customer service skills and ability to build lasting partnerships with customers both over the phone and in person
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds
• Proficiency in operating a personal computer and utilizing software such as Excel to input and manage data effectively
• Previous experience in the parts industry preferred
• Solid foundation of parts/warehousing knowledge and skills Journeyperson
• Certification is considered an asset
